The farmhouse has spacious rooms and the lounge, with its beautiful slate stone floors, is the ideal venue for socialising.
There are two vast bedrooms. A double bed and one single bed can be found in one of the bedrooms, while the other bedroom has four single beds. There is also a divan in the dining room. Linen is supplied for all the beds.
Stroll along the river on the farm and enjoy the peaceful surroundings or take one of the scenic hiking trails and experience Sleeping Beauty from close up. Remember to tread lightly!
Angling in the river or in Still Bay (only 39km from the farm) is popular or tan on the beautiful Blue Flag beach at Lappies Bay.
Bring your binoculars and tick off the numerous different bird species on your list. A pair of fish eagles can be heard regularly, a truly unforgettable sound!
Play a round of golf on Riversdale's beautiful golf course. Go mountain biking on one of many circular routes which you can take or cycle to the old toll house in the Garcia Pass. Pay a visit to the "Ou Tronk", once the local gaol but home to arts and crafts stalls as well as local delicacies, every Saturday morning.
Brush up on your historical and cultural knowledge by visiting the Julius Gordon Centre. Appreciate the beautiful works by local artists such as Vera Volschenk, Attie Visser and Dollie Lambrecht. Pay Long Street a visit and walk in the footsteps of C.J. Langenhoven, one of the icons of Afrikaner cultural heritage.
